    Finally, a credible leader and author that brings renewed hope to all those “extreme leaders” in education that have been labeled as crazy because of their commitment to kids first, their hopes, their dreams, their humanity, before anything else.  How can we promote the love of learning if the love for learning is devalued or worse, forgotten!  

    Radical LEAP reminds education of our solid foundation!

    Hi Steve – I loved the Radical Leap, and working in a high school in Canada, can really see how it applies to educators!  Education needs a radical makeover, and the student side of my private business (www.careerplanningforstudents.com), was created as a result of shortages in the system and my vision of a need for our youth to have a guide to help choose a career based on doing what they love and loving what they do. 

     I know many educators who are losing their faith in the system – maybe getting this book into the hands of educators can re-energize some of those who went into education because they loved being in service to others…

    Steve, our enterprise, Champion, out of Scottsdale decided two years ago to become known as a Developer that builds and owns the real state for schools.  We ‘Build Schools’.  We are meeting incredible Charter School educators and working with them to find solutions for their real estate needs.  Each having read all you books, and I hope with your permission, told others of their need to read and follow the path, each of the people you work with would be well served if I delivered a copy of The Radical Leap RE-ENERGIZED to them.  I intend to do so.  Thanks for your work.  It with two other major works are the basis of our business.

    I am choosing to believe that this is a sincere effort to do good in the world, and not to sell more books. In my professional and personal life I have often been misunderstood because I try to lead with love as opposed to fear thinly disguised as respect. I want more people to understand these concepts. I will buy your book and applaud you for sending it through the education world.

      And you’re right, Wendy. This is a sincere effort to do good. But am I interested in selling more books? Well, I damn-well better be, if I believe in what I’m doing, right? The second part of Leap Re-Energized address this very thing: Good business, personal fulfillment, and changing the world are NOT mutually-exclusive ideas, and we should be striving to do all three simultaneously. Some have called it “doing well by doing good.” I call it “The Radical Edge.”
