I know what it feels like to exercise and eat right. I know how it clears my head, tones my body, and makes me feel like I can take on any challenge, meet any commitment head on. And I know how great I feel about myself when I’m in shape.
I know it because I was there.
In other words, I ain’t there now. Which is why, starting earlier today, I returned to the gym and jumped back on the healthy-food wagon.
Typically, when people start a regimen like the one I’m doing, they take a “before” picture to share with the world—and humiliate themselves into staying motivated.
So…here it is. But I’m not going to flash it up here for anyone to see at a glance; if you’re interested, you’re going to have to work for it by clicking this tiny thumbnail:
All right, then! Stay tuned…
My “after” picture will, I hope, look something more like this:
Funny – when I compare your “before picture” to the one on the website, your nose looks much smaller on the website picture. Are you sure that’s you? 🙂
I know how you feel. I just got back on the wagon two months ago. I still hate going to the gym. But ….I love how I feel when it’s all over!

I’m laughing at myself because like you, I have fallen off the wagon with not exercising and not eating properly. Been there, done that. Thanks for the funny humor.
