If you’re an educator, if you know an educator, if you’d like to influence the educators in your and/or your kids lives, please take 30 minutes and listen to this radio interview with Educator Extraordinaire and Extreme Leader, David Pinter.
I’ve written about David many times on this blog, but this is the first time y’all get to hear him.
Dan Angelo, host of the program, Education Today, on KUCR radio, invited David to discuss his experience in applying The Radical Leap in his schools–and asks some great questions in the process.
As for David’s rep and influence as a principal, one of his teachers at his new school (Fort Caroline Elementary) told me in an email,
“Just recently, we were blessed with a new principal, Mr. David Pinter. Upon my first meeting with him, he spoke to us in such ways that left me breathless. I entered the meeting completely consumed in fear of the unknown and left telling people that he was probably going to be one of the most influential human beings that will ever touch my life.”
And he will, Christina, to be sure.
Have a listen and pass it along:
I love the paradigm shift applying LEAP in education. We need it. In a big way.
Greg,
L.e.a.p. is what educators have done for years. It’s time to shout it, proclaim it and implement it every where we can! 🙂
Beautifully said! The Radical Leap taught me so much that is now applied daily to my personal life and my career as an educator. I wish I had read the book in college so that I would have been prepared to come into the classroom with the Leap mentality. I am forever grateful for the insight that Mr. Farber has given me through his words so that I can reflect and improve upon my relationships and instruction that I provide on a day to day basis. Thank you to Mr. Pinter for showing me that I am, indeed, an extreme leader!
