My dear friend, Marci Shimoff, releases her fabulous new book, Love For No Reason, today.
Even though the title should say it all, it obviously does not. We’re much better, it seems, at hating for no reason, judging for no reason, dismissing for no reason, and we accept it as the normal state of existence.
For some, the very act of loving at all–let alone for no reason–is an immense challenge; for others, loving requires a damn good justification. What makes this book provocative then, is the new reality inherent in the possibility of no reason.
Love For No Reason isn’t a business book, per se, and, therefore, not the kind I typically recommend on this blog–but after all, cultivating Love is the first element of LEAP and the very foundation of Extreme Leadership. Marci and her writing partner, Carol Kline, reviewed mountains of current research (I saw the piles of papers with my own eyes) and interviewed 150 people (“Love Luminaries,” they call them) to uncover a 7-Step, learnable and repeatable process to bring love into the very fabric of the way we live our lives. Sounds like a tall order, I know. But one well-worth pursuing.
So now that I’ve given you a reason to check out Love For No Reason, you can click here to get the book and a package of extras, too.
Looks like a great book and worth it especially with all the extras Marci is offering

for some reason when i think of unconditional love , Marci Shimoff’s face comes to mind. I believe this to mean that it is time for me to thank Marci for all her efforts.

Sorry for the delay in posting your comment, Shahin! It slipped through the cracks somehow. And, yes, Marci’s face deserves that place in your mind. Mine, too!
