A few years back, I was invited to speak to the senior management team of a multi-billion dollar company. Before I went up to the stage, the CEO pulled me aside and said, “I’m the reason you’re here to speak to us today. I invited you.”
“Well, thank you,” I said. “I’m honored that you did.”
“You’re welcome,” he went on. “But I want you to know why I invited you. You’re one of only two authors I know of who talks about how important love is in business. And that’s what our work is all about: love.”
“Who’s the other?” I asked, already knowing the answer.
“Tim Sanders,” said the multi-billion dollar CEO.
Tim Sanders’ first book, Love is the Killer App, came out about a year before The Radical Leap, and since becoming aware of each other, Tim and I, I think it’s fair to say, consider each other soul-mates, of sorts. Heart-mates, anyway. Our philosophies of life and business are simpatico, to say the least. (And he was kind enough to write a book cover blurb for the first edition of Leap).
Tim’s inspiring new book, Today We Are Rich (which is kind of a prequel to Killer App), has recently hit the stores and is off to a roaring start on Amazon and elsewhere.
In it, Tim outlines 7 Principles to make your confidence, career and personal performance soar:
1. Feed Your Mind Good Stuff
2. Move the Conversation Forward
3. Exercise Your Gratitude Muscle
4. Give To Be Rich
5. Prepare Yourself
6. Balance Your Confidence
7. Promise Made, Promise Kept
To give you a taste, he’s offered Principle 1: Feed Your Mind Good Stuff as a download here.
Check it out, give it a read, buy the book, and know that, above all,
Today, you are rich.
Thanks I will check out the book. The first one feed your mind good stuff is so true. Too much negative information naturally sneaks into our head. It takes effort to keep the good stuff coming too
It’s on my desk! I just need to read it. Will report back when completed
I have started reading the book. I can’t put it down. It is a game changer
